About Ovi Store

With Ovi Store, you can download mobile games, applications, videos, pictures, themes, and ringing tones that are compatible with your cellular phone and relevant to your tastes and location.

Create a Nokia account

When you create a Nokia account, you can access Ovi and all its services with a single user name and password.

You cannot change your user name after you have created the account.

Sign in to Ovi Store

Select Sign in, and enter your Nokia account user name and password.

Retrieve a forgotten password

Select Forgot password. You are asked to verify your cellular phone number. A text message is sent to you. To complete the password recovery process, follow the instructions.

Browse Ovi Store

Items in Ovi Store are organized into categories. You can browse the categories, or search for items.

For each category, you can select what kind of content you want to see:

• Best sellers

• Top free

• New

When you view an item, related items are also displayed.

Search in the Ovi Store mobile application

1. Select Store menu>Search.

2. Enter search words in the search field, and select Go.

Enter search words in the search field at the bottom of each page, and select Search.

View details of an item

Select an item to see detailed information and other users' reviews. If you have signed in to Ovi Store, you can also write your own reviews.

Select the item. You can view details, such as the item name, description, price, type, file size, and reviews.

Read user reviews

Select Reviews.

View information about the publisher

Select the name of the publisher.

Find related items

Select Related items.

Contact Nokia if you find inappropriate content in Ovi Store.

Report inappropriate content

1. Select Report issue.

2. Select the reason from the list, and enter additional comments, if needed.

3. Select Submit.

Purchase content

1. Select the item you want to purchase and Buy.

2. If you are not yet signed in, enter your Nokia account user name and password. If you do not have an account, select Create account, and enter the required information.

3. You can pay with a credit or debit card, or, if available, in your phone bill. To save your card information to your Nokia account, select the Save this card to my Nokia account check box.If your card information is already stored in your Nokia account, to use a different payment method, select Change billing details.

4. Select or enter the mail address to which you want to receive a receipt of your purchase.

5. Select Confirm.

6. When the download is complete, follow the instructions.

It is recommended that you use a Wi-Fi connection when downloading larger files.

Manage your downloads

While an item is downloading, you can continue to browse for other content and add items to your download list.

Select Account.

The status of currently downloading items is displayed in the New downloads section. One item is downloaded at a time, and pending items wait in your download list.

Previously downloaded items are displayed in the My stuff section.

If you need to, for example, temporarily close your Wi-Fi connection, you can pause a download, and resume it later.

Pause and resume a download

1. Select the download.

2. In the details view, select Pause.

3. When you want to continue downloading the item, select Resume.

If there are pending items in your download list, you need to pause them individually.

If a download fails, you can re-download the item.

Install and open a downloaded item

1. After an item has downloaded, follow the displayed instructions. The content type determines where the item is stored in your cellular phone.

2. To open an item, in the My stuff section, select the item.

3. The content type determines what you can do with the item. For example, you can set a ringtone as the device ringtone or play a video or audio file.

For more information on an item, contact the publisher of the item.

Select where to save a downloaded item (if available)

1. Select Account>Installation preferences.

2. Select where to install games and applications and where to save pictures, videos, and audio files. Select Phone memory, Mass memory, or Memory card.

3. Select Save.

Review an item

Rate and review items that you have downloaded.

You need to be signed in, and you can only review items that you have downloaded. You can only rate and review an item once.

1. Select Review.

2. Assign a rating to the item from 1 to 5 stars, write your review, and select Add review.

3. Preview what you have written. To edit your review, select Edit review.

4. Select Confirm.

To view and edit your Nokia account details, you have to be signed in.

When using the Ovi Store application

Select Account>Ovi account settings.

Change your Nokia account password

Select Account>Ovi account settings>Change password.
